About Michael Beckette:

Following a successful career in the real estate industry, Michael founded The Mortgage Alliance Company in 1998 and since then he and his partners have seen the Mac/Mph Group, grow to become one of Canada’s premiere brokerage networks and the country’s first national mortgage brokerage with more than 2000 mortgage professionals and over ten billion dollars in mortgage volume annually. Michael is a past Chairman of the industry association and one of the driving forces behind creation of the Accredited Mortgage Professional designation as well as a member of the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame.

In 2011 the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame inducted Michael for his achievements and contributions to the overall success of the Canadian mortgage industry.

In 2020, Michael was the Mortgage Awards of Excellence, Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
